Members of Police Explorer Post 948 Participate in State Competition
July 08, 2022 - The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Police Explorer Post 948 were invited to compete in the Annual Florida Sheriff's Explorer Association's State Competition at the end of June 2022 in Palm Beach County, Florida. 
Pat Ivey Sworn in as Sheriff of Duval County, Florida
June 11, 2022 - On Saturday, June 11, 2022, Pat Ivey was sworn in by Chief Judge Mark Mahon as Sheriff of Duval County, Florida, following his appointment by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis earlier in the week. Ivey is the sixth Sheriff to serve this community since consolidation.

June 10, 2022 - Today, Sheriff Mike Williams retires after 31 years of dedicated service to the citizens of Jacksonville. His unwavering commitment to serving the Jacksonville community will live on through the many programs established during his time as Sheriff of Duval County.

April 26, 2022 - On Saturday, April 30, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office in conjunction with both Mayo Clinic and UF Health North will participate in the National Prescription Drug Take Back Day event in Jacksonville, Florida.
