JSO Recruiters Scheduled to Attend Numerous Events Throughout March

Each month members of the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Recruitment & Selection team attend recruiting events in various areas of the state and country.

In March 2022, Recruiters will be participating in the following events to answer questions and talk with potential applicants about their career goals.

March 9, 2 p.m. – 5 p.m., Valdosta State University Career Fair
March 10, Tallahassee Community College Career Fair
March 10, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., CareerSource – St. Augustine (525 State Rd., 16 Suite 109)
March 14, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., CareerSource – Fleming Island (1845 Town Center Blvd., #105)
March 15, Tri-Base Job Fair – Adam W. Herbert University Center at the University of North Florida
March 16, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Jacksonville Housing Authority Job Fair (Village Center Drive)
March 17, 2 p.m. – 6 p.m., Edward Waters University Career Fair
March 18, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., CareerSource – Palatka (400-FL 19 - Palatka Mall)
March 21, University of West Florida Virtual Job Shadow
March 22, 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., Keiser University Career Fair
March 23, 5 p.m. – 7 p.m., Jacksonville University Student Veterans of America Job Fair
*NEW EVENT* March 24, Chatham County "Ready to Work" Career Fair (Savannah, Georgia)
March 24, 12 p.m. – 4 p.m., Florida State University Government and Social Science Career Fair
March 26, 7 a.m. – 2 p.m., Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Job Fair (4715 Capper Road, Building P)
March 28, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., CareerSource – Yulee (96042 Lofton Square Ct.)
March 30, 3 p.m. – 5 p.m., Boys & Girls Club Career Day (313 10th St.)

March 30, Georgia Southern Career Fair
March 31, Florida State College at Jacksonville Spring Career Fair
March 31, 5 p.m. – 7 p.m., St. Leo University Criminal Justice Virtual Job Fair

Recruiters are also scheduled to visit the following High Schools: Bartram Trail, First Coast, Fleming Island, Raines, Riverside and Terry Parker (Events are for current students only)
