JSO to Host Two Recruitment Events in June

This month, members of the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office will host two job fairs highlighting career opportunities available at the agency.


Individuals ages 18 and older who are interested in learning about a career in law enforcement are welcome to attend both events.

On Tuesday, June 14, 2022 from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., a Virtual Job Fair will take place highlighting one of the agency's most popular civilian roles - Police Emergency Communications Officer II. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from current employees, leadership officials, and JSO's Civilian Recruiter. Then on Saturday, June 25, 2022, join JSO Recruiters for the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Job Fair at the Northeast Florida Criminal Justice Training Center located at 4715 Capper Road, Building P, Jacksonville, FL 32218. The event will take place from 7 a.m. - 2 p.m. JSO personnel will be available to answer questions; talk to applicants about benefits, such as tuition reimbursement and health insurance; and even help start the application process.

Attendees will have the opportunity to complete several of the steps for hiring, including the Physical Abilities Test (for PoliceCorrections and Community Service Officer applicants) along with the fingerprint and polygraph pre-screening for all positions.
