On Thursday, June 22, 2023, Sheriff T.K. Waters announced a new project aimed at seeking the public's involvement to help solve crimes.
The critical information shared on the new webpage, known as JSO's
Unsolved Crimes Page, is "a natural way that this agency can marry the use of technology and community policing to hold offenders accountable," said Sheriff Waters.
The webpage is accessible 24-hours a day, seven days a week and is frequently updated. Information on how to report is included on each page. Citizens can choose to remain anonymous by calling our partners,
First Coast Crime Stoppers at 1.866.845.8477 (TIPS) or by submitting the tip on the form provided.
"Crime victims deserve justice. It is our hope that our engaged community will regularly access this page. Help us solve crimes that in the past might not have had a high degree of solvability," said Sheriff T.K. Waters.
