2019 Community Newsletter Released
January 15, 2019
Sheriff Mike Williams released his annual newsletter to the community, DISPATCH, on Tuesday, January 15th.


The 2019 edition provides updates regarding recent technology being utilized in the City of Jacksonville such as ShotSpotter®, NIBIN, and the Real Time Crime Center.  In addition, an overview of the vast community engagement opportunities available throughout the year, such as Sheriff’s Crime Prevention Walks are highlighted in the four page document.  
 
In fact, the first walk of 2019 is scheduled for Saturday, January 26th at 10 a.m. in the Olde Field Oaks Community in Mandarin.
 
Lastly, the newsletter serves as a resource for important phone numbers and email addresses that one may occasionally need. Printed copies of the newsletter are provided during Sheriff’s Walks, at Safety Fairs, and more.
